Lead Pastors: Daniel & Crystal Rushing

Daniel and Crystal have been married since 2001.  They are the proud parents of two beautiful daughters: Bianca and Olivia Rushing.  There home is completed by a dog: Tux, 2 cats: Pumpkin & Prince Midnight, 2 hermit crabs: Ladybug and Jewels, 1 fish: Colby, and 2 additional fish who remain nameless.  They moved to the mountains of WNC in 2001 to serve as the Youth Pastors for Hazelwood Church of God in Waynesville, NC.  They served in that capacity until 2003. They then went on to pastor that church until 2007.  In April 2007 Daniel and Crystal moved to Asheville, NC to pastor New Harvest Church.

Daniel is a Bishop in the Church of God.  Elected by his peers, he has twice served Western North Carolina on the Youth and Christian Education Board for the Church of God.  A hardcore fan of both The Avett Brothers and The Beatles- Daniel loves music, poetry, and reading. 

Not only an awesome wife and mother- Crystal enjoys using her hands to make crafts, jewelry, and home decor. On top of being a full time house mommy, she  also runs her own handmade jewelry business: Crystal Charm.  She is a hard worker who never stops going! 

The heart of their ministry is simple: "Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is Heaven."

Youth & Children's Pastors: Bubba & Stefanie Miles

Bubba and Stefanie have been married since 1995.  The are also the proud parents of an awesome son: Caleb.  Two beautiful black lab mix girls: Lexie and Mango, both rescued, complete their family.  Both have served in ministry since 1994.  They attended East Coast Bible College where Stefanie graduated with a Bachelor in Christian Education.  They have served as house parents at children's homes in NC and SC.  They are ministry veterans; serving churches in Shelby NC, Walhalla SC, and Valdese NC before coming to New Harvest Church.  They have been faithful leaders at New Harvest since its early stages.

Bubba's ministry focus is with the young people of New Harvest.  He also serves as an assistant to the pastor by making sure whatever needs to be done is done- from the media, to setup, to most anything else.  He is a minister at every level, serving everyone he meets.  An engaging preacher and teacher make him a great asset to both the young people and adults of New Harvest Church.  He has a heart to see real change in the lives of those he serves and the community at large.  He is somewhat a movie buff and amateur magician.

Stefanie is our Children's Pastor.  She has served in that capacity since 2005.  She has an amazing way of communicating deep truths to children of all ages.  Her services are fun, engaging, and deeply spiritual.  On top of that, no one makes balloon animals or paints faces like Ms. Stefanie!  She owns her own face painting and balloon twisting business: "Miles of Smiles".  Both Bubba and Stefanie are members of the WNC Magic Club.

They are true servants with hearts of gold.  One word describes each of them: genuine.
