In addition to our normal services, NHC offers the following ministries:

Gideon's Call Youth Ministry

We have a great group of young people here at NHC. They love God and they love each other. Under the leadership of "Bubba" Miles, we are preparing to open our new community youth center known as: "The Press". Current plans inculde a worship facility, an arcade, concessions, and a skate park! The Press is scheduled to open around Spring 2008. It will be open to the public every Friday night. Stay tuned for updates.

In addition to "The Press", Gideon's Call meets every Wednesday for discipeship time, and meet occasionally in the community at one of our favorite coffee houses. Our youth also participate in Youth Camp, Winterfest, trips, and many other activities.

nhcKIDZ

nhcKIDZ is our Sunday Morning children's service. Designed for ages 4 through 11, while you are enjoying the adult service, your children will be experiencing God in a profound way also. Under the leadership of Stefanie Miles, your children will have the opportunity to be a part of an exciting and energetic worship service. They will worship, sing, dance, play some games, watch puppets, learn dramas, and part of a multi-sensory worshp environment that is sure to keep them interested and on fire. In addition to the children's service, once a quarter nhcKIDZ takes over the adult service. They lead worship, pray, and performs skits and songs they have learned. This is one of our best services every quarter!

Nursery

We're preparing to launch a nursery service for the parents of small children. If you are interested in volunteering, please let us know.

Your Harvest

Your Harvest Food Ministry is here to help fight the growing hunger problem here in Asheville. No one should have to choose between feeding their family and paying their bills. We want to make that decision easy, by providing food for individuals and families who are in need.

Your Harvest will be opening in Spring 2008.

Visiting the Opressed

Every week we have a team of ladies who minister to women and children at a local shelter. They provide a time of fun, worship, and life training to children who live in unfortunate circumstances. Once a week the women and children of this shelter can relax, have fun, be comforted, and most of all be loved & accepted.

Community Awareness Teams

Our Community Awareness Teams go out into the community and introduce NHC to those who may not know about us. In addition to introducing NHC to the community, this team builds relationships and observes what the needs of the community are.

These ministries will all be in full swing come Spring 2008. We are looking for individuals who have a hunger to love and minister to their community. If you want to be a pioneer in this movement of love, let us know.
